The Missouri Botanical Garden is located at 4344 Shaw Boulevard, St. Louis, Missouri. Their hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 7 days a week and closed on Christmas Day.

Admission Fees

Adults (age 13 and up) is $8; St. Louis City/County residents is $4; members and children (age 12 and under) is free; Children s Garden (Adults free) and $3 per child.

The Missouri Botanical Garden is one of America s oldest botanical gardens. It features flower shows, live music, and education and fitness activities throughout the year. There is an Orchid Show in February. Every Wednesday night throughout the summer is the Whitaker Music Festival. On Labor Day weekend, they have a three-day celebration of Japanese Festival.

October 10, 2007: Saving the World s Plants How Can We Do It? This is a symposium presented by the Missouri Botanical Garden and the National Tropical Botanical Garden starting at 6:00 p.m.
Great Green Adventures: Are drop-in family programs every Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Weekly focus on nature study, nutrition and exercise.
October 14, 2007: Sixth annual Harvest Festival at Shaw Nature Reserve: There will be bluegrass and folk music at this event. Food served by top local restaurants, local brew and Missouri wine, farmers market, family games, hayride, pony ride, self-guided Nature Reserve tours. Hours are 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Cost is $5 adults, $4 seniors 65 and over, $3 for garden members and Shaw Nature Reserve pass holders, free for children 12 and under. Additional charge for food and beverages.
